I am a professor in the Department of Chemistry at Memorial University of Newfoundland in St. John's, Newfoundland. I study the formation, structure, and properties of hierarchical composite materials. See my research page for more information.
|Previously I was a research associate at the University of Toronto with Prof. M. C. Goh studying protein aggregation and surface adsorption.|
|I was also a post-doctoral researcher in nanobiotechnology in the Harold Craighead Research Group at Cornell University.|
|My Ph.D. was in applied theoretical chemistry; I worked in the Hoffmann Group at Cornell's Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology,|
|As an undergraduate I also did theoretical research, with Prof. Michelle M. Francl at Bryn Mawr College.|
